No TV!

I know, I know. It's been a while since I've posted. Life got in the way as it often does. This last little while we've been reconnecting with long lost friends--Brynn wants to shout out to her Snow buddies on facebook--and are starting to count the days to Baby #4. The weather out here has been rainy, then sunny, 70 degrees, then 53. My kids are all going stir crazy. What's more is we have turned off TV, movies, Wii, and other video games for a whole week for earth day. It was instigated by Samantha's school and we thought it was a good idea. So far the kids seem to be using their imaginations more and we haven't seen as many tantrums from everyone except my son, who is having going to bed without Mom or Dad issues.

Bravos and Boos

Bravo
This week(ish) my Bravo goes to Washington, D.C. weather. Some of you probably think I'm nuts since it's been so schizophrenic and kind of cold, but it has provided a backdrop for some pretty cool pictures. This picture was taken at 10:00 pm as I walked out of the Capitol Visitor Center. The fog made the light beams visible and created a halo around the dome. I also snapped a photo of a full rainbow near our house. Couldn't find the pot of gold though.
